Each month our we ship the orders from the Azure Standard Warehouses in Oregon and schedule the times when you need to meet our delivery truck to pick up your order.
Unfortunately we must charge delivery fees to pay for this service. To find out how much your delivery fees will be. Click on the the appropriate drop point link to the right.
We call (Usually with a recorded message.) and email all our customers and let you know when we will be at your delivery sight. You can also find your delivery time by clicking on your drop point on the right. You then meet us at the delivery point at the appointed time and pick up your order. We do our best to call or email everyone to let them know when the truck will be at the delivery point. If you have not heard from us by the Tuesday before delivery please check on this website or call us so we can get you the time of delivery for your drop point. We do everything in our power to be at your drop point within 5 minutes of the time that we tell you, SO PLEASE BE ON TIME! We have lots of drop points and so we can't be waiting or visiting longer than we have scheduled because the customers at the next drop point are also counting on us.
In the event that you are unable to meet the truck at your appointed time and place you will need to make other arrangements for someone else to pick up your order. You can also make arrangments with the drop point sponser to hold your order until you can pick it up. Note that frozen items usually can not be kept in a freezer, unless the drop point sponser is able to do that for you. IF YOU DO NOT MAKE PICK UP ARRANGMENTS YOU WILL BE CHARGED AN EXTRA $5.00 HANDLING FEE. If you need your drop point sponser's phone number please call Heather (208) 429-1989.
We will give you an invoice showing you the items you have received and your delivery fee. If you have used a credit card for payment it will be charge approximately 3 weeks after delivery. Otherwise you can pay the driver by check (checks take about 2 weeks to process) or cash.
Unloading the Delivery Truck:
As the truck is unloaded, everyone helps put the boxes and bags in stacks by customer's last name. We suggest you leave your pile alone and not put it in your car until the drop point is completely unloaded so those who are helping you can always find your name and can keep adding to your pile. Of course, the more people who help unload the truck the faster we are all able to go home.
If you order smaller items, they are usually packed into other boxes called a repack box. This box may be labeled something other than what your ordered. For example; if you did not order crackers and get a box labeled crackers then most likely you will find the smaller items you ordered in that box, such as your spices, cheese, snacks, shampoo and the like.
You do not need to go through your order while at the Drop Point. We opperate on the honor system and expect you to take your boxes home and let us know if anything is wrong. You have 3 days to call or e-mail Heather and let her know what you actually received. Heather will make sure you get a credit. Some times the driver is pretty busy at the drop point so you are more then welcome to give Heather a call while you are at the drop point at 208-429-1989. It is possible that she may know the answer to your question.
The Freezer is located to the side of the truck. So to get your freezer items you will need to ask for help and wait until one of the drivers or helpers are able to open the freezer door for you. The driver/helper will need your invoice. This is because not all the items in the freezer will have a label that tells us to whom it belongs.
Please Be On Time or It Might Cost You!
We have a very tight delivery schedule. We only allow a few minutes at each stop. The amount of time we stop depends on how many customers we have at a particular location. If customers don't arrive within the time allowed we charge $5.00 for extra handling. If a customer cannot meet the truck remember it is the customers responsibility to take care of their order to avoid extra fees. In this case please look at the frequently asked questions and scroll down to the question "Is there any alternative to meeting the truck to pick up my order?" question which offers ideas of what to do in such a case.
USI AzureDelivery provides an on time delivery service that no one else in this industry provides. We have proven ourselves with a track record of over six years of service with only a few times of being late due to mechanical failures and a couple of times due to traffic blockage or weather conditions. On average once every twelve months or so, we're more than 5 minutes late over our scheduled arrival. When this happens we make sure that everyone knows what is going on and what our current time schedule look like. I remember one time when our schedule called for us to be at a particular drop point at 3:07 PM. When we arrived one of our customers asked me how we did that so perfectly because it was exactly 3:07 when we arrived. I jokingly said that we were actually just waiting around the corner out of sight and just at the precise time of our scheduled arrival we came on the scene to impress folks. While we were impressing customers with this on time arrival, it happened because we have a rule of always arriving within 5 minutes of our schedule at each drop point. We usually arrive a little early so if we get delayed a few minutes we are still on time. This means that arriving late is not an option for either the AzureDelivery team or our customers.
Now, this is not simply a back handed way of saying don't be late because the driver might really get mad, and charge you $5.00. We really want you to understand that being on time is very important. On time service allows our customers to plan their delivery day around a specified time made available several days in advance of our delivery arrival. Experienced customers value this service because it allows them to get things done that day without wasting time wondering when we will call so they can go meet the truck. We all know how frustrating it can be to be waiting around the house for the phone repair man to come sometime between 8 and noon, when you have other things you need to be doing. Also arriving on time is one of the keys to respecting the other customers we need to deliver to at our next stops. If either party arrives late then we are disrespecting those who are down the delivery line from where we are by making them wait on us. This has the potential of "standing up" 50 - 100 people, depending on what time of day it is. Certainly most of us would not do this if we had to look each and everyone of them in the eye and personally apologize for our inappropriate behavior. So, please be on time because it makes the delivery process fun for everyone when we are on time.
Also, please look at the frequently asked questions page, question one, because it explains how to use this web site to know if the truck is on time or if there is a delay.
One Last Thing -- Outs:
One thing that must be made clear is that you are not guarantied to receive all that you order. Actually you will most likely be missing items (I am usually missing a few items every month and everyone has this same problem). We do not have a backorder system so those items you are missing must be reordered if you still wish to get them the next time you order.
Contact Me: I know this might sound a little confusing, but after you have a little experience, it becomes an easy routine. If you talk to the driver or helpers and let them know you don't understand something, they will help you with any concerns you might have. You can always e-mail me at Heather@AzureDelivery.com and I'll do what I can do to help.
